X-ray inspection cabinets
Our cabinets are usually made of lead sandwiched between steel panels over a Uni-strut frame. They can be built with a simple single door that is manually operated, or with air or motor-operated multiple doors for production use. Size is dictated by the part and the target-to-film distance. Shielding is determined by the energy level of the equipment, and every unit is designed to conform to NRC codes.

Modular X-ray rooms
Modular rooms and enclosures let you test large parts that personnel and machinery can walk or drive into. The modular design allows relocation within the plant or to a new one. Rooms are usually supplied with all necessary lighting and power outlets, with a load center incorporated for the specific X-ray unit. Every room is set up and tested at our plant before it ships from Gibsonton, so it meets the requirement before it meets your floor.
Most NDT requirements are unique to the user, so there are few units we can offer as standard. That is fine with us. Our background in the field lets us interpret what you need and apply it to what you have.

Site assembly, by our crew
Rooms are fabricated at our facility, then disassembled, shipped to your location, re-assembled, and tested on site by A-fabco personnel. The dual 200 KV and 400 KV industrial NDT complex in West Palm Beach, Florida is one of the larger projects we have completed, and it went together exactly this way.
