Since 1970, A-fabco has supplied leaded products for industrial, medical diagnostic, nuclear, and therapy applications: everything needed to build a radiographic facility, plus leaded cabinetry, operator barriers, neutron doors, and custom-designed modular X-ray rooms and inspection cabinets. Lead glass & view windows
Schott lead glass in stock sizes, the window sizing guide, and one-piece or telescopic leaded frames welded here.
Lead-lined doors & frames
Wood and steel doors to 1/2″ lead, leaded door frames with fire labels, commercial doors and hardware, and STC sound doors.
Neutron & vault doors
Swinging doors to 15,000 lb and sliding doors to 30,000 lb with up to 19″ of lead and polyboron, plus nationwide service.
Lead-lined drywall & plywood
Type X drywall laminated with 2 lb to 8 lb sheet lead. Clean board, stamped and color coded, delivered on our own trucks in Florida.
Lead brick & sheet
Interlocking 4 by 12 brick from 1″ up, multi-layer coursework beyond 2-1/2″, and every sheet and plate thickness below.
High-density concrete
Poured, pumped, or conveyed, and three block styles at 250 or 300 PCF. The cost-smart alternative when lead gets heavy.
Personnel barriers
Factory-built control walls under 2″ thick, shipped assembled, and mobile acrylic barriers with 1.0 mm lead to 80″.
Industrial X-ray & NDT
Inspection cabinets, modular rooms with power and lighting, and 200 to 400 KV rooms assembled at your site by our crew.
Custom projects & retrofits
HDR rooms, linac upgrades and ceilings, on-site lead walls, and lead remediation. Turnkey when you want it.
