Why the industry calls here first

Fifty-six years of getting the physics right.

Hospitals, imaging centers, contractors, and NDT lines have trusted the same family-owned shop since shielding was a young trade. Here is what that buys you.

02 / Capability

From a 32nd of an inch
to a poured vault.

Shielding is a ladder, and we build every rung of it. Whatever thickness the physicist orders, there is a right way to reach it, and a wrong way to pay for it. We quote the right one.

Laminated drywall & plywood · 1/32″ to 1/8″ lead · exam rooms, imaging suites

Sheet lead systems · up to 3/4″ equivalency · CT, PET, high-output rooms

05 / The company

Fifty-six years of
stopping radiation.

A-fabco has been family-owned since 1970, back when shielding was a young trade. We started in radiographic equipment sales and service, so we learned how these rooms actually get used before we ever built one. It still shows in the work: products shaped by the people who order them, not by a catalog committee.

Customers get a straight answer, a fast quote, and a shop that picks up the phone. Our philosophy has not changed in five decades: put the customer first, fix what we find in the field, and let the work earn the next call.
